The book is a simple, short, and predictable sci-fi romance with poor world-building and character development. The sex scenes are poorly described, and there's no emotional connection between the main characters.

Ral’s Woman is the first book in the Zorn Warriors series, a sci-fi romance that falls short in several areas. The story is simple and predictable, with minimal world-building and underdeveloped characters. Ral, a Zorn alien, is curious about Ariel, a human woman kidnapped by lizard aliens. He wins her in a fight and claims her as his own, but the relationship lacks depth and emotional connection. The sex scenes are poorly described, and the overall execution feels rushed. While the premise has potential, the execution leaves much to be desired. The book may improve in subsequent installments, but as a standalone, it doesn't deliver a satisfying experience.

Quick quotes

She is mine. Don’t touch her. You touch her. You Die.

I think you do not understand. You are mine for life. I claim you. I won you. I will keep you. We will breed often and I am hoping you will take my seed to root.

It’s a very simple read, short, not very well done, and predictable. Not much world creation, but maybe in the other books it comes out.
